Pakistan Cricket Team for ICC World Cup

ICC World Cup is here! It is the biggest event of Cricket World, 10 teams play against each other to win the ICC trophy and prize money.

This time also, the Pakistan Cricket Team is in qualified 10 teams. The Team will play their first match against West Indies on 31st May at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

Pakistan stands at 6th rank in ICC ODI ranking with an ODI rating of 94.

The Pakistan cricket team won the World Cup in 1992 under the captaincy of Imran Khan. Pakistan has also been runners up at the 1999 World Cup. They qualified up to Semi-Finalists 4 times (1979, 1983, 1987 & 2011) and have also reached the Quarter Finals twice (1996 & 2015).

Sarfaraz Ahmed has chosen as captain of Pakistan Cricket Team.
