The International Cricket Council (also known as ICC) has recently announced the latest ranking of all-rounders. In this latest ICC ranking, Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has got #1. Whereas, Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan has got in the #2. Not even single Indian cricket player got listed in the recently released MRF Tyres latest ICC ODI rankings for all-rounders, which doesn’t feature a single Indian in the top-10 list.
Shakib Al Hasan had shown his awesome batting as well as effective bowling during the international ODI tri-series in Ireland. Due to his effective all-rounder performance, he beat Rashid Khan and claimed the #1 position in ICC ODI all-rounders rankings. In the recently completed tri-series in Ireland, Shakib scored 140 runs along with two unbeaten half-centuries and also took two wickets.
Shakib now has got 359 points whereas Rashid Khan got 239, was the previous #1 holder of the all-rounder ranking, but now down to the #2. Rashid Khan’s Afghanistan team-mate Mohammad Nabi is on #3 with 319 points.
None of the Indian players got any spot in top 10 but Pakistan’s two players got the two spots in the ODI All-rounder top 10 ranking (Imad Wasim at #4 & Mohammad Hafeez at #7. Pakistan is the only another team who got two players in the top 10. New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner is at #5 and England’s Chris Woakes at #6 place.
The West Indies captain Jason Holder is at #8. England’s Ben Stokes is nowhere in top 10. Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews got a spot on #10.
